Ad Astra·powered by Band of Hands
Internal · Master playbook
B2B advisory firm · incubated by Ad Astra

The advisory layer operators actually trust.

A curated marketplace for the B2B services you already buy — HR, IT, insurance, supply chain — run by operators who've done the work, not an algorithm.

Consultants bill by the hour and answer to no one. Software is built to extract a little more from you every quarter. Band of Hands is neither — a closed-loop market where you own the relationship, AI does the heavy lifting, and the vendors pay the bill. You pay $0.

Vendors pay AI does the work An operator owns the call You pay $0

We only win when you win.

Built by operators, for operators. Built to be underwritten.

How to read this

The master playbook, in order.

This is the internal master playbook — the full picture in one place. Focused, audience-specific cuts get parsed out of it later (a buyer one-pager, an investor deck, an operator invite). Present the nine pieces top to bottom; everything below them is for drilling in when the room asks.

Reading conventions

Foundations first. The priority right now is the mechanism and the business scaffolding. Silos are incubated responsibly on Ad Astra — where vendor, partner, and advisor vetting happens off to the side — and only graduate into Band of Hands once proven. The roadmap is downstream of the foundation, never a distraction from it.

Two kinds of call-to-action appear here, and they never blur:

CTAINTERNAL · STRATEGY

CTA = a real next step a real audience would take. INTERNAL · STRATEGY = a growth statement for us — never shown to a customer as a pitch.

The pitch · what it is
01 The storyWhat it is, in plain words — then the manifesto & the ladder. Why we believe in humans, and the climb.
The money · the prize, then the path
02 The calculatorFeel the money first. What one chain and a category are worth — by industry and headcount. Drag any number, live. 03 The projectorThe whole company over time — revenue & GP at 12/18/24 months as silos and team scale.
The case · why it holds up, and funds itself
04 Why this holds upNow that you want it — how the moat compounds, why the margin lasts, and the diligence questions, answered. 05 How it pays for itselfThe self-funding go-to-market — vet by selling, the referral flywheel, and the advisory override. The de-risker.
The build · how it's built, and when
06 The build planThe disciplined, node-by-node mycelium sequence — five phases. The story's map, now built. 07 The 24-month roadmapFoundations first, then two wedges in parallel — hard gates and tangible targets per phase, and the one-step-at-a-time cross-sell.
The proof · the moat, and what we won't compromise
08 The networkScroll-driven: 12 industries × 12 solutions fill themselves in as vetted providers refer the next. The moat, visualized. 09 What we refuse to get wrongScroll-driven: the four things we won't compromise — agnostic, the structure, humans, AI as the tool.
The numbers · going deeper
The ladder · in detail
The cast
